Relaxed Play • Friendly Tables • A Welcoming Community

Open Play brings our Mahjong community together for relaxed, social play featuring both American Mahjong and Hong Kong Mahjong tables. Choose the style you know and enjoy a few rounds with friends, familiar faces and new players.

Open Play is designed for players who already know the basics of the style they plan to play and are comfortable playing independently. This is not an instructional session, so if you’re brand new to Mahjong, we recommend starting with one of our Mahjong 101 lessons before joining Open Play.

Playing American Mahjong? Please bring your current NMJL card, or one can be rented at the club.

Come on your own or with friends—we’ll help connect players and fill tables as space allows. Whether you play American or Hong Kong style, there’s a seat at the table for you.
